Well my basket is the same O.D. as the k5. I bet they will be very close. Eagerly awaiting.... out of the hinson parts I looked at the kx250f stuff looked the closest. I'm going to see if I can count splines from the pictures

I did the basket gear to as I run a k5 hinson basket. Engine is being built as we speak. Right now I a 1992 kx top end. I committed my future builds to the 1851 cylinder. Bought 5 of them, like 8 sets of used pv's I have 6 complete sets of new. 2 phat head racing cool heads. Ya went off the deep end...

For my 98-99 kx250 cylinder, would you have a head and 2 coolant elbows, the inlet elbow just about the intake.... I'd maybe take 3 if ya had them. ...
