Re: Customer jetting for a KX500

Unfortunately that person has disappeared.
Most new airstrikers come with a 55 pilot and 170 main.
I'd start there and work my way down doing throttle chops to make sure how it is running.

Re: Jetting Screw Driver - Bar Pad

There is a good idea.
I never have to adjust mine because I've been riding the same bike at the same spots for so long that its not even a thought, but for those that need it, that's a great idea 8-)

Sounds great..
Yes, the last real fork update was in 1997 and remained unchanged till 04.
Now, get those forks valved and sprung for your weight.
I recommend Pro action but there is a lot of good suspension companies out there..

Re: KX500 PWK39 Jetting Discussion - My Experience

You should be making about 56 RWHP with that set up.
Very respectable numbers.

Re: KX500 PWK39 Jetting Discussion - My Experience

On the top mount of your pipe there should be a stamped number.
It will end with either 55 or 38.
Which do you have?

Re: 1993 k5 won’t idle

Ok, sounds good.
I would not plan on running that 30 dollar carb for long but it is a cheap test.
