All those holes will flow 3x more water then most MX cooling system could flow. You could make the holes larger then go out and test it on the street with your SM bike.

Looks great, that piston wash tells alot what going on in the K5 motor.

The top flow meter is what I started with 20 years ago. Good basic readings, they do they have pro's and con's. You will need to also measure rpm of impeller. And have about 8-10 pressue gauges. That will get you started.

No it was not stewart somebody else and it was not a window mod and I think it was a skirt mod. I know on the 125 motors you pick up about 1 hp from 4500-8000K rpm range and less up top end with a window verus a piston without window. The piston without window makes more power up topend. These pisto...

There was a member over there that tested a piston skirt mod change if I remember right and had good luck with a improvement on power. This was back many years ago.
