So, your KX500 Sub Frame is missing all it's threaded inserts?
You want to drill a hole all the way through and run the bolts all the way through???

I was asked if the M8 inserts would fit into the sub frame.
My knee jerk reaction was yes but I wanted to be sure so...
I had a sub frame that had a hole so wallered out that a M6 insert fell through the hole
Obviously that wasn't gonna work
Looking at the next pic it appears as if there is enough room.
Perfect... The big drawback is the oddball size bolt but better that than some of the back yard repairs I have seen employed
