Another tip.
While you still have the clutch cover in the mill, you might want to consider removing about .030 off the water pump face.
As you can see in the pic below, there is a lot of clearance between the water pump and the impeller.
This will cause cavitation and potential air bubbles..

Note that there is no gasket between the water pump cover and the clutch cover.
And after milling the face down there is no clearance for the water pump cover... PERFECT!
When you install your gasket you should have perfect clearance
Or, if you want to cheat, don't mill the face down at all and add 1 washer to the back side of the impeller.
There is a washer there already, simply add another

Is that a OEM-CYCLE 2 piece clutch cover on Destry Abbott's bike?
