The top flow meter is what I started with 20 years ago. Good basic readings, they do they have pro's and con's. You will need to also measure rpm of impeller. And have about 8-10 pressue gauges. That will get you started.

The other cool thing about this mod... You would have to look real hard to see that anything has been done..

6mm to 5mm grade 8 adaptor I made. I just never cleaned the end where I sawed it off.

since the threads in the impeller are 6mmX1.0 and the stock kawi is 5mm X ?

I opened mine a bit but, mostly I cleaned up and blended the edges.

Here is Motorrads mods for his Super impeller :shock:

The kit. ended up needing 4 gaskets for clearance. so take that into account when you cut your spacer. every setup is differant, including the 3 other pump covers I have here.

Impeller, 2 angle cuts for clearance. bottom cut down to get rid of big step in impeller (see earlyer pictures of it in this thread), .047" step cut from impeller face to center . 6mm to 5mm adaptor. uses stock out of kawi parts fich washer spacer.
