will work on 06-2012 kx250f kx450f to mount up a 1990 - 2001 kx500 engines. just for the Y-piece. made of 6061-T6 aluminum, go around the exhaust and mount the front mounting bolt so you will not have to fabricate front engine mounts. The ends are made to fit over the tubing of the frame to allow the strongest possible welds. With this Y-piece, you do not have to replace the square tubes that run under the engine. makes a very clean looking conversion. this Item has been made for a kx500

I haven't taken delivery of the KX450 yet. Hoping to have it by the end of this week.
I also sent the y-piece seller a message via ebay, but no reply as yet.
You can count on me posting a blow by blow account of the build. I'll start a thread when the bike arrives. Any tips on mating the carb to the airbox?

Yes, somewhere it is in my notes.
Off the top of my head I believe you need to use a 02 cr250 air box boot with an adapter but I will need to double check that...
