Eventually, I'll be going back to the stock carb when the supermoto gets the new engine running a 44mm Lectron ;)
This engine and stock carb will be going into my 07AF woods weapon.

yup that's what I did...I started thinking about, and came to realize that there is sooooo much more "volume" in the tapered 41 that needs to be taken up with raw fuel...otherwise that "volume" is just air, which equals the lean condition.
I'm thinkin once the snow's gone, I'm gonna toss the 70pilot back in...I had it in once last year, but it was hot out, a humid 85 degrees, and it didn't like it.

Of course your also running a BIG BORE KX5??!!!!!
Although... typically the bigger the bore the smaller the jetting... :o

I would agree, if I were still running a 39...then yes, a little lighter on the jetting would come into play.

How do you like it compared to a stock engine?
I suspect there was some port work?
