For now I will remove the bolt but in the future, I will remove the mount and help streamline the frame..

In case you want to do the rear brake lever conversion, use the KX250F rear brake lever 04-16.
You will need two bronze bushings, ID 12mm, OD 16mm, Length 12mm.
Once you press the new bearings in, you will need to slightly ream the ID of the bushings as they do not want to slip right on.

Here is another way to upgrade your rear brake lever.
This was wrote By Alex Ward KX Guru team member:

One mod I had been kicking around. The rear brake pedal post wears funny. So, this helps solve that problem. After you cut the post off, M8 1.25 time-sert solid insert and a KX 450F/250F brake pedal and use a 2000 or newer kx 250 2t pivot bolt.

The first step is to remove the post.

After you cut the post off you will need to tap the hole with the correct tap size for the OD of the Time-Sert
Next you install the Time-Sert and your ready to mount the brake pedal on.
